Radium Fuel Vent Charcoal Canister Service Kit for 20-0828
All probe testing was measured inside the atmopsheric exit of the fuel tank vent.
-Without the charcoal canister installed, the gas detector maxed out over 10,000 ppm of fuel vapor.
-With the charcoal canister installed, the gas detector did not measure any fuel vapor (<50 ppm).
CONSTRUCTION
The 3-piece charcoal canisters are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. They are Type-II anodized for maximum corrosion resistance. The 16AN ORB female end caps (shown below) are sealed to the body with FKM O-rings.
The preassembled vibratory-packed carbon resides inside 150 micron strainers and anodized aluminum baffles (shown above). This prevents any loose carbon media debris to escape from the canister.

NOTES:
1. For high flow fuel venting, the end caps on all fuel vent charcoal canister kits (below) feature large -16AN ORB female threaded ports.
2. For mounting, all charcoal canister kits (below) feature a 2-piece anodized aluminum billet clamp. Three stainless steel M5x0.8mm screws are used to mount the clamp to the vehicle and two additional M5x0.8mm screws are used to secure the clamp halves together.

Recharging the fuel vent charcoal canister will not be a frequent occurence but will depend on usage. For instance, if the internal carbon becomes overly saturated, filtration efficiency will be reduced.
